unique world building, addicting listen

well written dialogue, with interesting characters that have realistic motivations and who actually grow as people. I love sci Fi and fantasy but was sad I was having a hard time finding a new series that didn't just seem like it was a cookie cutter copy. the voice actor is also easy and fun to listen to.

I have to know what happens next, so I am going to switch to Kindle. This is such a great world, the possibilities are huge.

I don't know why I love this, but I do

I don't know why I like this series. The main character is a Mary sue who succeeds at everything, but they put enough challenge in the world for him because he can't be everywhere at once. This leads in to some interesting political problem solving. The world building is good, and this one leads them outside the city, setting up for an entire new plan for the future. Very good, but it shouldn't be...

Love this series!

This series is one of the best I've read when it comes to the genre. A competent and intelligent MC that isn't afraid to pull his punches.
It's a breath of fresh air in a genre saturated with obvious author self inserts, whiny children that are afraid of their own powers and cringe harem elements that goes on forever.
This has none of that.
