Angela’s life has been flipped around and turned upside down. She never expected to be pitted against her sister competing against her own flesh and blood for a man’s affection. Her relationship with her brother in law had grown increasingly inappropriate. Angela and Eric had crossed the line and created a complicated energy that left her off balance and unable to control her feelings for him. Eric was a Cincinnati bad boy who learned the hard way that neither his money nor his intellect made him exempt from the cold realities of the world that he lived in. Love could get you killed and trusting the wrong person was just as deadly. Everybody came with a price even his wife. Tori was selfish, scandalous, and determined to take everything that ever belonged to her husband and make it her own. Her golden rule in life was look out for Tori. No matter what had to be done or who had to be crossed she was willing to do it and anybody could get it. Even her own sister. As long as Eric was alive the clock was ticking and time was running out. She had to get Eric before he got to her even if it meant using his love for her sister to do it. Lawd this book will piss you off! You know a book is good when the characters get you genuinely upset lol the story line is great I just hate all the gaslighting and how the bad characters keep getting their way smh I’m not even done with the book and have to write this review cuz I’m so triggered by these mf. Like Eric has been done terribly the whole series and they act like he’s supposed to get over everything Tori and Angela did to him like HUH? Lost memories or not Angela continuously rejected him and got another man. Now she expects him to forget all that just cuz her memories came back? Yeah right she needs to work for his forgiveness or go back to Otis and continue to leave him alone 🗣️

Sooo infuriating
