This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
With this concise guide on quantum theory we have pursued our aim of creating the most comprehensible, brief and systematic picture of the behavior of reality at the micro level: the reality of quantum physics. This behavior is very much different from what we humans are used to dealing with in our everyday lives, so naturally this subject is quite hard to comprehend for many. We believed that the best way to introduce the subject reliably is to start at the beginning, presenting the observations, thoughts and conclusions of each of the world’s greatest physicists through their eyes, one at a time. In this way we hope that the reader may take an enjoyable journey through the strange truths of quantum theory and understand why the conclusions of these great minds are what they are.
This book starts with the most general view of the world and gradually leads readers to those new, unbelievable but real facts about the very nature of our universe.

I now know more about quantum physics than I did before reading this book but that does not suggest I know very much. It is a complex science and like AI not for the uninitiated. Unlike several commentators I found the virtual voice to be clear and understandable to my 80 year old ears. Since it is AI driven no doubt it is heuristic and capable of self improvement with each iteration so concerns about tonal quality or pacing will simply improve and probably very quickly. Some narrators, but not all, are excellent when it comes to portraying multiple voices but this is the kind of thing virtual voice will do effortlessly. It is easy to imagine books or articles in a digital format fed to a virtual voice system and clear well-produced products emerging quickly on the other side. Scott Brick is one of my favorites narrators but I have to wonder how he perceives his new competitor.

Topic is not as well explained as it could be, but for the love of God the AI narration is borderline impossible to listen to.

Horrible AI narratiom

This audiobook was concise and to the point. The reading by AI was also cogent.

More AI audiobooks at cheaper costs or preferably free is a great way to proliferate knowledge.

Terrible voice with the wrong intonations. Started to laugh when it was reading the ISBN… AI voice for audiobooks is not a good idea yet.
