The producer of the audiobook is an award-winning sound designer and composer. When he and his wife struggled with sleep apnea, he searched for an audio program that would help. "I mostly found cheap sound effects with repetitive, looping tones. Granted, my background makes me a little picky, but I found these programs more annoying that relaxing."
So he set out to record the best sounds he could find. The ocean waves, rain, thunder, streams and waterfalls are all original recordings.

Next, he experimented with tones. This program is the first to include arrangements of beautiful classical music. I've listened to many books to sleep, but what makes this one unique is that you listen to background music, apart from the waterfalls. 20 hours of pure relaxation. I fell asleep pretty quickly, so it worked!

So, I have purchased all of the Relaxing Sounds...this is my third one in this series. I can't decide which one is my favorite, so I literally alternate every night....Rain and Thunder, Ocean Waves and now this one...Waterfalls.

The sounds are so relaxing and help me fall asleep and quickly go back to sleep after I get up to take a "break".

I really enjoy the simplicity of the sounds. When I take a nap, I will put one of them on to help me relax as well as mute the normal, everyday noise.

Each chapter is a bit different so you can find your favorites. I know that running water and nature noises along with the soothign music are helpful for my nervous system. Highly recommend!!

This audiobook is more of a audio track of relaxing sound and music with waterfall. Only a brief introduction in this audiobook. 20 hour of the same sound over and over. The sound are lonely and great for sleepig but my only complain is that the sound is the same for 20 hour which I don't think is great as most people fall asleep within 2 hour, this mean the sound is the same one over and over for 20 hour which is not too diverse. They should at least have more sound rather than 20 hour of the same thing over and over.
