After the shock of her controlling ex-husband’s sudden death wore off, Liz Vance realized that she was back in charge of not only her life, but that of her two young sons. Her self-confidence began to grow, especially after she learns that for reasons unknown to her, Carter left everything to her. She soon learned that he had owned a house in Idaho, in the middle of the scenic Rocky Mountains. When problems arise with her son’s friends and their parents in the prestigious private school their father had enrolled them in, Liz takes the boys to Idaho to check out the house on Rocky Mountain Way. In Idaho, she and her sons find a whole new way of life and new friends that accept them wholeheartedly. Life is good until suddenly Liz begins receiving text messages and emails from Carter telling her to bring her sons back to Atlanta immediately. Her new world threatens to shatter. Is Carter still alive? If not, who is playing this cruel hoax and why? Liz needs to find the answers to these questions in order to find peace in her new life.
