Paige Turner is on a new adventure.

After participating in a blind dating experiment with three guys, she’s ready for a break from men, even if that includes her best friend, Rhodes. So she does what almost any thirty-year-old in crisis mode would do: she purchases a van and flees her hometown with her favorite sidekick and pet, Cleocatra, hoping to get lost in Montana and maybe even find herself.

If only it were that easy.

Rhodes didn’t think confessing his undying love for his best friend would push her to leave town suddenly. Wrong. It did. In the wake of this rejection, he does everything he can to avoid thinking about her, like learning to play pickleball. Turns out he isn’t half bad. Unfortunately, he can’t avoid his feelings or control the situation he’s now in, especially when confronted with his worst nightmare: losing Paige. But he has to trust the process, which is an encouragement he’d rather read on the side of a mug than live out.

Stuck in the not yet of their relationship, they have to decide if this adventure will bring them closer together or farther apart.

The 2nd book tied things up nicely and was super sweet. I really enjoyed the story and narration.
