Love the story

So many unexpected twists. It kept me on my toes and listening with great intensity.

Brilliant!

I've read seven of Malfi's books and this one may be my favorite. Terrific story and characters. The narrator is excellent as well.

too here and there and end result unresolved

I picked this because it had paranormal listed but really it's just there's no paranormal there's just some guy's crazy psychotic break And in the end it just stopped without resolving the issues I guess so he can make a book part two but it was just too undone too unresolved and not very good not very entertaining and there is no paranormal which really pissed me off because paranormal was in the description

Title fits

I usually enjoy this author but this was not one of those times. The title fits as the story is senseless.

What a mess!!

This has a really interesting murder mystery which is totally subsumed by a mess of a story of someone totally uninteresting unraveling into mental illness. Was hate listening to Chapter 17 in hopes of getting back to the reality based mystery.
