Reyah Granger never thought that she would dread her favorite month of December because Christmas in Vermont was always the best.

Last month she lost her dad, and nothing has been the same sense.

Trying to help her mom through this train wreck was hard. Her dad didn't tell them he was sick, and his death was a shock but trying to get his finances in order has brought on more surprises.

Since his death, she left her apartment to stay with her mom and she wants to do everything her dad wanted including the tradition of volunteering at the local animal shelter for the whole month.

Walking cluelessly into the shelter to donate in her dad's name she had no idea the owner was the hottest guy she has ever seen.
