What happens when a twenty-first-century woman falls for a nineteenth-century man? It’s up to destiny in a witty, captivating, and totally unexpected time-travel romance.

Daphne Griffin is a first-year Minnesota resident in emergency medicine when she rides her bike into a man who appears out of thin air. Physically, he’s fine. Confused? Very. He claims he’s Henry MacDonald, from Edinburgh, Scotland, 1885.

The closer Daphne gets to Henry, the more probable the impossible notion of a time traveler looks. The how and why are vitally important to Henry, who needs to return home before his widowed mother and two sisters lose the family business. In the meantime, he’s adjusting to the marvels of twenty-first-century life and his feelings for the irresistible Daphne. As for her? She’s never met a man so charming, or one who makes her so deliriously happy.

It has the makings of a perfect romance, if not for the century and a half separating his time from hers. Time is running out to get Henry back home—and for him to decide once and for all where his heart belongs.

“The funniest, swooniest book to ever make me wish time travel was real, Time for You will have you searching every sunbeam for your very own Henry Frederick MacDonald. Elizabeth Davis is an auto-buy author for me.”—Jenna Levine, USA Today bestselling author

“Bursting with charm and wit and that classic rom-com feel, Time for You is some of Elizabeth Davis’s finest work yet. The prose is incandescent and the chemistry is positively sizzling. This book perfectly balances the whimsy of its premise with modern nuances, deftly timed comedic beats, and a whole lot of heart. I had such a blast.”—Thea Guanzon, New York Times and #1 international bestselling author of The Hurricane Wars

This was such a fun and light-hearted read. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Even though it was in third person with solo narration, Angela Dawe made the story easy to follow.

The arguments because of things that were timeline related were simply hilarious and had me laughing out loud. But the romance between Daphne and Henry was so sweet and pure. I was so sad when the moment came for Henry to return to his timeline.

I also loved Henry's realization that his family could carry on and be ok without him, and how they helped him get back to Daphne. And also, when Daphne realizes that it's ok to change your dreams.

Quote: “Thank you. For not falling in love with someone else while I was gone.”

“Aww, did Henry think we had dinosaurs in the twenty-first century?”

wasn’t sure what to expect from this, but I ended up enjoying it.

Henry, being from 1885, was quite confused with all of the ways the world had changed. But Daphne was so patient with him. And they slowly got closer as he adjusted to living in current times. He did intend to go home when he could.

This was such a cute read! I liked the whole time travel concept and that they found a way to make their relationship work.
