I had learned so much more about the content of this book than I thought 🤔 I was going to. The subject is well-sourced and noted along the way. Enlightening and Depressing

Johnathan Karl tells of his experience covering Donald Trump‘s run for office from his loss to Biden to the first months of the second term. Although “unprecedented” has been the most common word used by journalists and pundits, Karl provides new insights from his investigative reporting. His ability to identify and gain access to significant players in the developing stories was a testament to his journalistic credibility. In the audible edition, he provides snippets of interviews with Hunter Biden, Steve Bannon as well as private phone conversations with Donald Trump. Karl demonstrates the role that the press plays in American democracy.
