A book that makes you want to listen without stopping

This book made me want to listen without stopping to see what happened as the characters overcame many obstacles. (Be warned there is a very evil Wickham and some abuse in this book.)

Good solid story

At one point, I just thought, how are this many things happening to Elizabeth? It works though.

Good solid story

This audiobook was very well done and the off canon story was well written. It dragged in a couple of places, hence the four stars.

A little bit of everything

I really enjoyed this listen. There was drama, suspense, romance, emotion, and more that kept me looking forward to driving so I could find out what would happen next.

Expansive Arcs of Characters

The canon divergence of this adaptation allowed expanded arcs of characters. The journeys have higher highs and lower lows without being overly sensational. It made sense, therefore, that the book was long. And I enjoyed having a longer story to read.
