performance was captivating

I enjoyed the story and the narrators did an excellent job bringing it to life. I do recommend especially if you like the Halloween movies

Was that the Boogeyman? As a matter of fact, it was.

I just wanna say first off I almost did DNF this book just because of the beginning prologue with what was happening to Damien that is one of my biggest triggers and so it almost did cause me to DNF but growing up I was a huge fan of the Halloween movies so I remembered what Michael Myers did to his sister. Now, with that being said, I think that this is a very good novella for the Halloween season. It’s got everything you could think of from the Halloween movies with the dark romance aspect of it. It’s a very quick novella that you can eyeball read or listen to on audio in our audiobook narrators Theodore Zepher and Madison Mitts do a very great job with this. For the longest time I thought this was gonna be the book I listened to that was gonna be my first audiobook by them, but actually turned out to be a dark mafia romance, but they did such an absolutely amazing job in this. Again, I will say this book is very very dark and descriptive in some of the things that happened into it so I would highly recommend taking trigger warnings very seriously but again I loved the Halloween movies so whenever I saw that there was a dark romance, retelling of those movies. I instantly had to read it or listen to it. I know at the beginning of it. zepphora had talked about potentially doing further stories with Damien and Aurora and I would really like to see that. I don’t know how long it’s been since in the novella came out, but I feel like I would really like to see a full novel of them again further down the line. I hope that’s something that’s Zepphora is actually working on but again this is very good for the Halloween season obviously it’s based on the Halloween movies if you’re a fan of slasher films, this is definitely book that you should listen to or read

Theodore’s voice is amazing and brings the Myers character to life quite well

Theodore’s voice is amazing and brings the Myers character to life quite well but Madison is too breathy which is quite distracting for the story. The voice is a bit irritating actually. If the female would have been done differently then I would have given higher stars.

Wtf did I just listen to 😳

This was a very good book with the backstop kinda like Michael meyers, my only hangup with all the gore and violence is that it was more like jason , but it was still good.

Okay new favorite narrators unlocked. This was such a wild ride but the acting and voicesssss. Obsessed.
