While setting up a surprise birthday party, Lois, the local witch and Gate Guardian, gets a surprise of her own when a handsome Sidhe Lord shows up at the Magic Shop asking for help.
The murder of a beloved duke had triggered a blood curse that was making a broad swath of the Fae land uninhabitable, and the blight was spreading. The duke’s son could stop it, but he was missing. And the only person who knew where he was had crossed the veil to Earth and hadn’t been seen in three hundred years.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Bree’s father, the Drakkon king’s heir, thought it would be funny to send the Fae lord to Lois, so she could help him locate the missing mage. As if keeping the gates between the realms closed was not enough to keep her busy.
This twisted tale becomes even more convoluted when Queen Alysanora sends thief-takers to kidnap Bree’s partner Danny, forcing Lois and Bree to attempt a dangerous rescue, in the one place neither wanted to ever visit again. This modern witch tale is filled with dangerous adventures, unique characters, public humiliation and just enough romance to keep readers of all ages happy.
Part of this story is set in Little Five Points in Atlanta. It in no way reflects on the real Wiccan community and is entirely fictional. It is the second book of Keeper of the Seventh Key. While it is not necessary to read the first book, I hope you will.
