Not for me

Oh my my my. Even the fabulous Roslyn Landor couldn’t save this. The author is usually very good, and I realize the effort it takes to write. But the story just doesn’t make any sense for the period. It’s just too far fetched. I’m really sorry to leave this review because I know what it takes to write. I’ve never left an audio book on the 3rd chapter. Just to hear Ms. Landor is usually enough for me to buy it. This story is just insipid.

Unusual and captivating storyline

Despite the low rating, I decided to give this audiobook a chance — and I am so glad I did. If I had relied solely on others’ opinions, I would have missed out on an extraordinary romance. The storyline was refreshingly unexpected, and the narration was simply exquisite.

As the second book in the trilogy, it exceeded my expectations. The beginning explores the challenges of an unconventional marriage, but by the end, love truly conquers all.

I absolutely loved and recommend it. Well done!

So glad Rosalyn Landor narrated this book

I have been waiting so long for the other books in this series to come out in audible. Such a wonderful book and story. Looking forward to the remaining books. Please have Rosalyn Landor narrate those too!

Not 4 me. Charalcters TSTL

I enjoy this narrator, but the book was not 4 me. My favorites are closed door romances, but if a story is interesting and well-written with only a few graphic encounters, I can skip over them and still enjoy the book. However I did not find this story interesting, and detailed encourters were everywhere throughout the book. Also the characters were unlikeable as they simply seemed TSTL.

Worst story

Worst story just about sex not really any depth. Very unlike the first book which is a shame.
