Love Damien + Blair

Another fun and beautiful story by Lola. Vampires, sirens and other creatures make this such an awesome read. Lola has such a way with words and the stories she weaves are so addictive. Always love reading Lola's books.

This is my first book by this author. I really enjoyed the story with the different characters and the dynamics. In this first book, we have Blair, who is a siren, and Damian, who is a vampire king. I really enjoyed the banter between them. It was a really cute, fast-paced story.

The narrators did a great job bringing them to life.

An intriguing paranormal world

An intriguing paranormal world I cannot wait to delve deeper into. I am new to this author, and to be honest I am picky about my PNR, and Lola is definitely one I will look up previous books for. Damien and Blair have the typical beginning when fated mates are unwillingly thrust together (at least for one party)... refusal to let it be anything more than the mating, refusal to actually catch real feelings. But of course those nasty love feelings rear their heads. Damien is actually all-in in a way that makes your heart melt-luckily melting Blair's heart as well. There is some danger and suspense, but I was engrossed by the world building and want to see more of this world. I also enjoyed all the humor, and I am smiling now just thinking of the text chain.... which you'll have to read/listen to learn more about. Narrators brought the story to life.

Siren and the vampire

I really liked Blair she is so strong and trying her best to keep her sisters safe. They are sirens which means they are being hunted by each faction of the supernatural for different reasons. Blair needs to make a deal with a vampire to keep her family safe. It’s got the forced marriage trope and some pretty well. Though both of these characters are very stubborn. It’s a quick listen with a good amount of spice. I’m excited for how things will go for the other sirens and kings. It was a lot of fun to listen to.
