Was hooked the entire time. The narrator did an absolutely incredible job between voices and inflections. Another great book by AB with great intermingling stories and the most disturbing situation one else could think up.

Had my doubts initially, the magic felt outside Beauregard’s repertoire. But then all the pieces came together and WOW!! Just wow! A disturbing tale of human depravity and humanity’s affinity to hope all in one.

This is one of ABs best works in my opinion. He takes us on a wild ride to follow the suffering of a handyman named Vinny from youth to adulthood. AB does an amazing job of painting the horror in this story. He really knows how to get under your skin. If you are looking for something shocking with a decent story, this is a good read
