Lulled by the conclusion of the Primal Games, a few of the Prime leaders have taken to luxury or complacency. Others, however, have sharpened their claws and garnered strength. An attack will come from the shadows, one few expect, and in the aftermath, true chaos will unfold.

Victor and his girls deepen ties with House Ghadeer, aiding it as a new Prime rises to lead them. Such a task might not prove difficult if it weren't for the enemy hidden in the grass. Tactics give ground to intuition as Victor attempts to react to an unseen threat, protecting his own while also lending strength to Ghadeer.

To make matters more complex, Petra has a confession she's been holding back. Her time as head of his mates is coming to fruition. She's no longer content to lead, to fight, and to follow orders. Driven by instinct and a desire to nurture, Petra will ask Victor for the greatest gift of all: the gift of a child.

Tensions rise and Victor's family grows in number and in strength. And reminded he may some day become a father, he'll be damned if he allows anything insidious to survive.
