A vampire prince with a secret. A lone wolf with nothing left to lose. A witch caught between them. In New Avalon, love is a bloodsport.

Rowan Mercer doesn’t do vampires. Doesn’t trust them. Doesn’t sleep with them. Definitely doesn’t work for them.

Until Adrien Vale — gorgeous, ancient, dangerously untouchable — offers him a job…and a deal Rowan can’t walk away from.

Stop a brewing war between vampires and werewolves? Easy. Try not to fall for the vampire prince pulling his strings? Impossible.

And then there’s Theo Quinn — a human witch with illegal blood magic, a smart mouth, and eyes like sin. He’s trouble. He’s bait. He might just be the thing that tears Rowan and Adrien apart — or binds them together forever.

Three men. Too many secrets. One city ready to burn.

Love was never part of the deal.

But in a world of monsters?

It might be the deadliest weapon of all.

This title was by far one of the worst stories that I have read in this category. Honestly, I had not realized how short it was until after completing it. But the issue that this title faces is that the scope of this story needs to be much longer in order for any of it to make sense. Not to mention the fact that it is auto narrated by some form of AI, is completely offputting. The AI’s pronunciation of some of the characters names changes within three minutes. It can be pronounced three completely different ways for no reason. If this title is any indication of the kind of writer that the author is, I will gladly never read another thing from them.

Awful.
