Liked storyline, didn’t like the occasional monotone reactions

The narration, even though almost believable, still had its moments where you could tell was AI - unfeeling or reaction not matching the feeling of the scene. Story is fine - but sounds familiar. Was not aware this was a possible romance story - didn’t stay to find out because I was looking for a different basis. May come back to later.
