Fun Holiday Read

Such a great story by HG as always; the theme definitely made it feel like it was time to snuggle under a blanket with hot chocolate. The performance was never dull and the plot was easy to follow. 10/10!

I wanted to love this but…

The story was okay. I think if I would have read this in physical form instead of audio, I would have liked it better. I only like to listen to duet style narration and unfortunately this was not. I read a review that mentioned this being in duet, and unfortunately, after buying this, I realized it was in dual narration. Something about males doing female voices and vice versa that really irritates me. The first 20 chapters I was really bored and considered returning and getting my credit back but I hate to DNF books so I pushed through. I also read that this book was spicy but it had minimal spice. It was super hallmark with some spice if that’s your thing, go for it. I truly expected more from the author of icebreaker. I loved that series so I was a little disappointed in this book.

Must read holiday

It lagged in some places and wasn’t enough in others. It’s still one of the best holiday books I’ve listened to in awhile. I love each of these characters.

Worth every single ounce of hype! This is the perfect small town romance to start the Christmas season!

Just what I wanted! Light but not too cheesy. Nice amount of spice. Would love to see this as a series!!
