Humor and Lousy Narration

While the unhuman reader is just weird, mispronouncing simple words, the story is good. I like when a senior character is portrayed as intelligent, interesting and gutsy. The author doesn't exactly make retirement communities sound attractive, but she has a great sense of humor. Loved the cat named Pierce Bronson!
