I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was curious about what had happened between E G Carroll and D J Trump. E G lays out the details and the circumstances around the sexual assault and the defamation lawsuits clearly and in a very matter of fact way but she also gives us a look into who she is as a person and a writer. She really shares some of her insights about what the sexual assault and defamation did to her emotionally and their long term impact. By the end I felt like I had a better understanding of the entire situation!!

Wonderful writing and narration! E. Jean starts by saying she is not a professional narrator, but this is one of the best audio books I’ve ever read! She does a fantastic job telling her story with a lot of exquisite detail and delightful humor.
