“I’ve got the power. It’s time to make them pay.”

After achieving Tier 3 as a Dark Matter Aspirant, Jace Seren and his allies—Priam Westerfold, Greg Bhastal, and Quinn Cipher—are on their way to Earth.

Their mission is dangerous: take down all five megacorporations to clear the way for the Star Council to instill their control over the world and lift Earth’s civilization to its pinnacle of possibility.

Corpo-mercs, cybered-up soldiers, lingering Aspirants, and Ascendants? That’s only the start of it. For the Nebula Alliance already has agents on Earth, and they do not take kindly to hostile takeovers.

Earth is not the only world with problems, however, and Jace will find himself embroiled with a cult, fighting for the very survival of the universe itself.

good from beginning to end, with the exception of D's companions voice. that high pitched tremble voice got to me.

this is just insanely good.

I really enjoyed this series but the full status sheet every time they get an upgrade kind of slogs it like I get you know want to know exactly what the update is but I feel like you could have condensed it down to just the changes and then once every other time they getting upgrade read out the whole thing instead of the whole thing every single time

I love the story but

The story so far is great, the only issue that I have is that EVERY TIME they go over stats it is extremely repetitive. It would be a lot better if they could be compressed.

Great Story, Repetitive Stats

First of all, let me say what I like, the narrators are excellent. They do a superb job of bringing the story to life. The only problem I have is the MC‘s voice. Sounds like he has bathroom issues every time he yells out a spell. The story itself, has a lot of twists and turns and a lot of threads which gives it a lot of places to go. I like this author’s previous work so I decided to go ahead and read this one. Some of the side characters have their own motivations and are written very well. Don’t care for the Shark chick. I think that’s kind of creepy having sex with a fish. But I’m not the author. I just skip past those parts. The other thing I don’t like is the MC is kind of dimwitted, to say it nicely. You have all this technology in the book, but the author can’t bring the MC’s intelligence up to regular standards. he doesn’t have to be a tactical genius, but for the love of everybody, please give this MC some education. On the other hand, I like him to become a tactical genius. He’s definitely not like the MC in the author’s last book. That really takes me out of the story and my only major complaint. Nobody well maybe I shouldn’t say that, but most people are not gonna follow an idiot. The power progression is excellent. The world building is very good and it’s well worth the read. In fact I’m going to start the next book and hope this shortcoming that I don’t like will be alleviated.

Excellent world building, great cast of side characters written very well, heartwarming, enjoyable, a lot of story threads.

I enjoy the pace of the story, and the universe building is very good. The skill and item system is interesting as well. The repetitive use of the entire character sheet for each of the characters feels more like fluff to increase the word count than actually useful information. The narrators are good, but the incorrect pronunciation of one of the characters class titles by the female voice got rather annoying. Still, I look forward to the next book.

Good story but a little repetitive on the stats
