Confused

The story started out with a lot of promise and then just lost it. I understand that it’s the first book in a series, but there were too many storylines and the disconnect was too great.

There no answers to questions raised. Everything is left unresolved. It's like half a story

Tremendous

I was captivated early and enjoyed every second. I can't wait until the second book! I also just heard the song that accompanies the book and was blown away. Awesome all around!

Captivating

The intertwining stories and detailed character development were captivating. I found myself really rooting for this family and grew so fond of each of them. I really didn’t want it to end!
Can not wait for next book in this promised trilogy. Read it! Or Listen to it. The audible book was beautifully done with music and sound effects. I lost myself periodically as I immersed deeper into this book!

Great premise

I am anxiously awaiting new additions to this series, this first book intrigued me. CW
