My first mistake was sleeping with the most dangerous man in New York, without him knowing who I was. My second was believing he never would...
It was supposed to be easy: one night of sin with a beautiful stranger to forever cut ties with my Bratva past. But I didn't pick a stranger. I picked him.
Hades Drakos, the dark prince of the Drakos Mafia family, is a lethally beautiful psychopath with a trail of broken hearts and bloodshed in his wake. Oh, and he's my client.
It doesn't matter that our one night was under darkness, disguised by masks. He knows my secret sin. He knows it was my first time. And now, he'll use that to trap me as his own personal Persephone.
Even though the God of the Underworld might have my darkest secrets and sinful submission in the palm of his hand, I swear, there's one thing he'll never capture.
My heart.
Sinful Hearts is a standalone, dark mafia, blisteringly steamy enemies-to-lovers romance with a smart, untamable heroine and an ultra possessive hero with "look at her and I'll unalive you" energy. No cliffhanger. HEA included. For mature listeners.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the fact she never told him who her dad was. Why drag it on and never even tell him.
Other than that, loved the drama the action and of course as always the spice. I did enjoy their chemistry and the connection they shared. I love a jealous possessive MMC so that was a plus.
Narrators did a fantastic job and the accents were amazing

the wonderful characters

The number of times that the female character "shivers" is absolutely annoying. It was worse in book 1, but it still continues. Can the woman not have any other response, but to shiver and shudder? I do get tired of female writers being so angsty and thought a male writer would be a fun change up, but that doesn't seem to be working out.
Another issue (that could be quickly and easily dealt with) is that the main characters never use protection. The women don't appear to be on birth control and yet they never get pregnant or an STD. The whole thing is just ignored entirely. WTH?
**Early spoiler ahead**
The restaurant scene where Elsa is having dinner with a potential client is dumb. First, Hades says that there is no room at the firm for another client. Then he threatens the man to become a client and spend $6m with them per year. WTH? This absolutely makes no sense. Some people will write it off and say that it was Hades coming to terms with his mixed emotions about the woman. Maybe. Since there is no indication of this, and the characters are so shallow, I didn't come to that conclusion.
I feel like I just keep saying WTH. Listening to books is my only form of entertainment and I don't know that I care to finish the book. Very disappointing.
