Travis is a loner. The town of Bramble talks like he can't hear them. Only a few people in the town he would count as friends, and he prefers it that way. A prequel to the Crescent Ridge Mail Order Brides series this novella takes place in 1879's Colorado before the town of Crescent Ridge formed. This tells the tale of the town's founder and his lovely bride.

Heartfelt

I loved the story but I am not a fan of the computer generated voice. A lot of words were not pronounced correctly. All in all it was ok.

AI narration makes an okay story fall flat

This was an okay short story — I think… hard to keep track of who was speaking. There were anachronisms as well, so it was distracting

Story was fine. Virtual voice was terrible. no emotion. Very robotic. Pacing and cadence of speaking was trash. Boooooo
