Claudia Shephard’s husband died in a fire.
Everyone says it was tragic. Accidental.
She doesn't remember much—just smoke, panic, the way her lungs burned as she ran.

But three weeks after the funeral, a manuscript arrives on her doorstep. A book she didn’t write. A book that describes, in disturbingly intimate detail, her husband’s affair… and the precise steps she took to murder him.

It’s written in her voice. With her quirks. Her phrases. Her secrets.
And page by page, Claudia feels her grip on reality begin to unravel.

As whispers swirl through their coastal town and friends turn to watchers, Claudia doesn’t know who to trust—or if she can even trust herself. Because the more she reads, the more she remembers. Not everything. Not clearly. But enough to ask the one question she’s not ready to answer:

Did she write the book?
Or did someone write it to destroy her?

In this haunting psychological thriller about memory, manipulation, and the stories we tell to survive, What She Left Unwritten will keep you second-guessing everything—right up to the final, breathtaking twist.

A human reading would have made less mistakes. The context clues used for words like wind and read aren’t really useful for virtual voice. It’s terrible to listen to.

Virtual voice is terrible

I don't usually write reviews, however, I felt this one was warranted. The computer voice, wasn't too bad, however the sentences were so choppy and unfinished. I felt as though the characters were underdeveloped and the plot was just confusing. I kept waiting for it to finish and it just kept going. I wish I could have liked it, the concept sounded so interesting, however I do not recommend this one.
