Enjoyed this story , the life of a lumberjack… Yummy 🤤. Aaron and CJ did a great job narrating, two of My favorite Narrators. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥🔥🔥 👏🏻👏🏻

A little revenge is always fun

The story was cute. The miscommunication was utterly annoying but I felt like the story towards the end was so rushed. Chloe’s character was annoying the hot and cold constantly got old fast. I love Gus. He was such a sweet lumberjack. Im interested in the rest of the series still but im desperate to see some POV with the patriarch of the Hebert family. Hopefully as the series continues we see some. As always C.J and Aaron did a phenomenal job narrating this story

Surprisingly Funny

i found my self swooning, giggling (well, downright cackling) at parts of the book. I love the strength and sass Lila and the maturity and understanding of Owen. The narration was outstanding..

A beautiful second chance

Pain in the Axe, book two for this Maine lumberjack family, was WONDERFUL! At the end of book one we saw the smallest glimpse of Gus and Chloe, and I couldn’t wait for their story. Needless to say, it was phenomenal! These two ex’s have found their way back to each other in… less than favorable circumstances. At least, that’s how Chloe wants it to be when she buys the her ex-husband’s family company. Gus on the other hand sees this as his chance to win his ex-wife back all these years later.

This book had me laughing out loud, seeing how our spitfire Chloe keeps Gus on his toes, and how much Gus loves her sass. Oh, and did I mention that Gus knocks Chloe up? YEAH! Surprise baby!!!

This book had me so enamored, and I finished it in less than 24 hours. Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom did such a wonderful job narrating this story. I will absolutely listen again! 🩷

Was that a cliffhanger?

Kind of weird that the mystery part wasn’t resolved. Chloe was annoying and Gus was sooo patient. I’m glad she came around. I had to FF a few places.
