corny and cute

I loved this story. it was a good adult retelling enemies to lovers, slow burn romance but it's worth the wait!

Emotionally gripping & frustrating! PERFECT!

I genuinely loved this one. The world-building is rich and immersive, with six kingdoms, two of them cursed in ways that feel doomed from the start. One trapped in endless winter, the other ruled by a king whose touch means death… and somehow fate still forces them together.And the narrators? Absolutely nailed it. They brought so much emotion and intensity to these characters that it made every moment hit harder. You can feel the tension, the pain, all of it.This story walks that perfect line between heartbreak and hope, and I was hooked the entire time.

Loved it!

This is a really good romantasy with an interesting magic situation. It has curses, magic, royalty, enemies to lovers, 1 horse, and a Morally grey mmc. This is the first book in a series but is a standalone with an HEA.

Sensual Performances& Climactic Musical Background

The voice actors breathed life in this story. I didn’t just hear the sadness, the joy, the yearning, the disappointment, the betrayal, the lies, the shock, the hurt, the pain, and the flirtatious tone - I FELT IT.

I swear my gut did a phantom work out from all the below the belt blows and betrayals that were happening. The point is, I FELT every emotion you can think of and there was no part that gave me a break.

From start to finish, the storyline connected well at different stages without being predictable and the world building was simple enough to recognize the kingdoms and their perspective nobles.

I purposely went into this story without reading the synopsis, because I wanted to be surprised and figure out the plot and get to know the characters along the way. And I read with the audiobook. I didn’t rush it because the pace was perfect. When I couldn’t read along, I clearly understood what was going on, because the voice actors really acted and pronounced with feeling - JUST RIGHT (not too much, not too little). Well done!!!!

Royal Magic Soul Mates

I was enthralled from the start, surprised/shocked by the twists, and almost devastated…but then the end was OMG so great!! You must listen to the Epilog and the Extended Epilog so that you get the satisfy update of Jerich and Tova. The story had me going through so many different emotions, I found myself yelling at the characters and audibly gasping at some of the shocking revelations. LL Riley did such a great job world building with this unique Royal Magic system, and did amazing with the character development. Jacci and Christian were a great DUO for this narration. I am so excited to listen to them in the next installment!!
