It was a warm, summer night. The streets were empty and dark, and the night was silent. The only noise was the sound of my own footsteps, and the gentle splash of the water against the shore. I was alone, and it was perfect.
I've always been fascinated by the dark and the light. The dark that existed in my mind and the light that existed in my world. One of the many things I loved about being a teenager was being able to explore the place between two worlds.

The house has been in the family for three generations, but with the family living so far away, they hardly visit. The house is old and falling apart, but the memories it holds are too valuable to sell. One day, the house gets broken into, but luckily no one is home. When the police show up, the family is relieved. The police find a box of treasure, which includes letters and diaries written by a young girl in the house years ago.

The family takes the box to the station and opens it up. They discover a hidden journal from the girl, written to her unborn baby. The journal is full of advice for her child on how to make the most of the place between and how to find the best in each moment.
It is a plane ride that you can't take back.
