Legend Banks is a man with a troubled past. After losing both
parents at a young age, he was left to be raised by his aunt. While serving
a two-year sentence, Legend finally found his calling as a chef behind bars.
Upon his release, he was determined to make his aunt proud while making
a name for himself in the culinary field. Not knowing his ex that left him
to do his time alone would cause chaos in his life. As he is trying to enjoy
his new life as a successful, single, and wealthy man, an older woman
captures his attention.
Envy Knox is facing challenges while rebuilding her life and self-
confidence after escaping an abusive relationship. Starting over as a house
cleaner in a new city wasn’t the plan for her life. Neither was becoming
attracted to her first client, even though she was not interested in pursuing
a relationship because of the age difference.
When a snowstorm leaves Envy stranded at Legend's home for
two days, they get to know each other on a deeper level. As Legend and
Envy navigate their way through their newfound feelings for each other
and the obstacles in their paths, they realize that their love may be the key
to overcoming their past traumas and achieving the future they both
deserve to be snowed in fChristmas with a bayou legend.

Great Short Read!

The story is captivating and short but it wraps everything up in a bow by the end for a HEA ending. Would like to read more by this author as sometimes a standalone short story is better than a long series and that is the case with this one.

Sweet story. it has all the feels with a couple twists with a great ending.

I wanted soooooo much more.

This book had such potential to go further and have greater detail. I am sad that areas of this book went untapped, like a deeper look into his aunt, more about Landon and his evilness, some of the clients Legend worked for, how far did their love story go????? Nice book but unsatisfying conclusion.
