The embargo of Phaethon has ended, and all three galactic systems are vying for the planet’s alignment in upcoming elections. Now that ships can arrive freely, the Republic, League and Alliance have all decided that Phaethon is a worthy addition to their folds. Each system sends diplomats to the frontier planet in hopes of swaying minds and capturing votes.

The League is desperately short on territory and is looking to restore its former glory, so Clarion sends several agents to help facilitate this outcome. The Alliance also seeks to expand, while Republicans want to stymie their competitors’ growth.

In the midst of all this turmoil, Tom Savage keeps working on his star farm, learning more about harnessing the power of Phaethon’s sun for energy and growing his family of businesses across the globe. But depending on which system the populace votes for, his operations may soon come to a screeching halt.
