Trinidadian beauty Taylen Persad is ecstatic about her new marriage to billionaire business mogul, Baylor Graham. They met in Dubai and secretly got married. They planned to share the news with their family when they returned home. When they arrive in Manhattan to start their new life together, things take a tragic turn when Baylor is murdered. Taylen is devastated and suddenly alone to reveal their marriage to his family. Baylor's family is suspicious of her. Even though Taylen has been successful performing at Broadway shows, the media and his family thinks she had him murdered to inherit his fortune. Taylen proclaims her innocence, but as details emerge about her life, it appears she has something to hide.

Priscilla Graham won't stop until she gets justice for her brother Baylor. They shared a close bond and worked together which is why Priscilla is baffled as to why he kept his marriage a secret from her. Priscilla is sure Taylen is responsible for Baylor's murder.
