Loved this

I loved this book. I will admit that the first is still my favorite but this is great.

Mafia Romance

Ahhh the way I have loved listening to these fantastic performances in Savage Promises. Returning to this world, falling head over heels in love with these characters, and being immersed in the Quinlan’s chaos has been incredible with so many of my favorite tropes!

Oh my gosh, this book is incredible! I had the chance to listen to it narrated by the amazing Avery Caris and Sean Masters, and it was an immersive experience like no other. Shane Quinlan is super protective of his family and determined to keep the woman he loves safe. But here’s the catch: she’s his fiancé’s sister, and that brings a whole host of complicated issues. Lennox is a total boss lady, and I’m HERE FOR IT! She’s not your typical mafia princess; she’s worked hard to get what she wants, but she knows she can never have what she truly wants… Shane. The journey Shane and Lennox take while dealing with family expectations, family drama, and outside threats makes for an amazing listen/read.

Savage Promises is the second book in the Quinlan Empire series. This is Shane Quinlan the youngest brother’s story. Shane has been in love a girl he can’t have since he was a young man. Lennox is the daughter of a rival Irish mafia family. Lennox grew up in a family that thinks women are only good for trades. Her father planned to trade her for marriage to profit his pockets. She became useless to her father, at eighteen, when a doctor told him she was not a virgin. She went to college for business in hope to take over her father’s club. Her father will never allow her to own the club. She now is saving to open her own club. Now fifteen years later Griffin Quinlan is the head of the family and is trying to unite old rival families. He wants to bind the Quinlans with the Donnellys. Shane’s position in the Quinlan family is known as the fixer. He has agreed to marry into the Donnelly family; however, it is not the daughter he has been in love with. Shane is going to be marrying Nev, Lennox’s 18-year sister. I loved this book! I can’t wait to continue this series.

Avery Caris and Sean Masters did a phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style narration.

really good basic dark romance

Although I do like a little more smut, it was a good book. The voices were spot on, but I felt like it was missing a little something. I cant quite put my finger on. But still an amazing book about a strong and curvy FMC and a tough her and die MMC. Definitely recommend
