Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
The crew chases down some unanswered questions that remained after their last adventure. This leads them to the Scavengers, who hide in places that no one wants to visit, and to another species that appears to have disappeared: the fuzzies. The more they discover about this species with a cute-sounding name, the less they like what they uncover.

They encounter several new and very different aliens along the way, but the enigma of the portal remains unsolved.

They finally believe they now have a safe way to send a ship back to M33 and search for answers. What they discover is that they are not alone in exploring the portal, and some things dont want to be rescued...

It has a pretty simplistic story but after I got started I found it hard to put down. To bad it uses a AI narrator but oh well it’s a free series and I enjoyed it.

Hard to put down

the misproncition by the virtual voice. I really didn't mind but I distracted from the illusion.

the ending really is ap stick in the eye of our current administration.

This series is a wonderful from start to finish. The only that seems to miss out when meeting other civilians is they don’t scan for internal organs on what makes them live and don’t. Also, I was worry that this series was going to be about finding wreckages.

Wonderful, wonderful.

I really enjoy the storyline and plot, how Benjamin and the now-multi-species crew continues to seek out new life with a focus on peaceful contact, and the different species are imaginative. the AI narration doesn’t do the story well, due to the lack of good inflection in timely manner, and constantly sounding like its doing run-on sentences, which makes it difficult to follow who is speaking at various times. this detracts from an otherwise excellent story. still, im looking forward to more.

Great Storyline
