Pressed further, Jeeves deduces that the simplest explanation for the outlandish situation must involve time travel. What follows is a series of outlandish events that induce the hapless Bertram to follow in the footsteps of his deceased double.
Keeping a reign on circumstances taxes even the formidable brain of Jeeves himself, and the question arises: Will Bertram's faithful manservant be able to save his charge from himself, or will the currents of time sweep Bertram Wilberforce Wooster off his feet and unto destruction?
