Houston... we have a problem.

Ezra Miller’s life has been turned upside down ever since his best friend hooked up with an alien named Al, and not just because he walked in on them having close encounters of the third kind. In the year since he discovered the truth about extraterrestrial life, Ezra has accidentally become the sole person the Darvrokian race trusts to act as Earth’s intergalactic representative, which is great and all, until he's assigned a Darvrokian coworker plucked out of his worst nightmares.

Titan Leon is everything Ezra hates in a man. He’s arrogant, presumptuous, and worst of all, hot enough to make Ezra forget why he hates him in the first place.

Hot enough that “absolutely not” turns into “only this one time.”

Hot enough that Ezra can overlook the fact that he’s Al’s most disliked brother.

But one time isn’t enough for Titan, and he won’t take no for an answer.

He’ll do whatever it takes to make Ezra his.

And sure, he’s an asshole… but as much as Ezra hates him, he can’t help but see that there’s something softer about him lurking just beneath the surface. Something more than Titan lets anyone else see. And whatever that something is, it has its hooks in Ezra so deeply, he can’t help but fall into bed with him over and over again.

With the same sense of humor and earnestness as Crash-Landed in Love, Not Written in the Stars is a witty contemporary alien romance that explores the ideas of identity, belonging, and choosing your own path in life, while tackling tough questions like: how much sand is needed to fill a room in your mansion? Is $100 enough to tip your new friend, Uber driver Carlos G? And how many Slim Jims are customary to put into a gift basket?

Please note that while this story takes place on modern-day Earth… life finds a way.

This book made me cackle nonstop. It's so funny. I love it so much. I've had so much fun listening to this. It's so cool how the Darvrokians have touch telepathy. It would be amazing to be able to understand others that way.
You wouldn't think a silly alien smut book would end up bringing up long lost dads and sending me into an emotional tailspin. I cried my heart out right along with Ezra's emotional healing. This really is a beautiful story. I love Ezra's and Titan's character growth.
Michael Ferraiuolo is a badass narrator. He added so much fun to this book with his voice acting skills. I can't wait for Corbin's story!

Book 2 did not disappoint! Sooooo funny and the smut is out of this world 😉! The disappointment I feel because book 3 is not available is astronomical.

Since book 1, Ezra has gone from stoner uninformed human to ambassador for human/alien relations living in a mansion with his best friend’s family. A huge leap indeed! Titan is Al’s brother who we learned a lot about in book 1 on how poorly he treated Al, making him have very low self esteem. Due to this knowledge, upon meeting Ezra claims he wants nothing to do with Titan despite finding him to be the hottest guy he’s ever seen. I say claim because later that night Ezra shows he has zero self control as he jumps right into bed with him lol After having a super hot night together Ezra is happy to see Titan head back to his home planet but unfortunately for him, Titan is sent back to earth to not just work in Ezra’s office, but also live in the same house. Ezra is NOT amused to start out with. Titan and Ezra have off the charts physical chemistry but it takes him time for him to convince Ezra to lower his emotional defenses. This story has many laughs as well as sweet and tender moments too.

The usage of “dude” as an honorific, and other misuse of words cracked me up constantly. I also find the weird alien dietary delicacies amusing. This is not a standalone. I really hope we get more from Scott and Fox.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

I freaking love this series. Ezra and Titan totally stole my heart. I did go in with reservations when it came to Titan. He hasn't exactly been the best brother to Al and how anyone can be mean to such a sweetheart was beyond my comprehension. Titan was one of the big reasons that Al struggled with his self-esteem along with their parents. However, to be fair to Titan, his parents were the major reason for him being the way he is as well.

It was fun seeing Ezra argue with himself again and again when it came to Titan. He'd completely convince himself he was going to stay away, then would inevitably end up sleeping with Titan again. There was just so much chemistry between them and the little moments when the true Titan would shine through his c0cky personality kept Ezra coming back for more.

"𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚜 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚎𝚗𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚊𝚢 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 - 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚎 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸 𝚊𝚖 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚎."

Titan had a good amount of character growth throughout the story. With Ezra by his side giving his support, you could tell Titan was putting in the work to try and be a better man. It's hard to change when you've been groomed your entire life to be who you are, but Titan did it. He even made progress with Al which I was extremely happy about since I adore him. I'm glad that Ezra and Titan figured themselves out by the end and I am excited for the next book in this hilarious series!
