Slick is tough, never met a woman that he wanted to settle down with and love, but then he meets Journal, a good girl, whom he saw something in from the very start. Their worlds are much different from one another, but that's what's going to make it so special.

I love Journal as a name

This book was free on audible and turned out to be really good! I’m not familiar with the author but I’ve already started on the second book and gearing up to order the 3rd because the series is really good. I really enjoyed the storyline and the character setup. Journal and her siblings had a rough upbringing yet all seemed like great kind people. It’s crazy how after she found her sister, her brother was discovered shortly afterwards. I hope they all can rekindle their relationship. Genesis sounds like a cool cat and I love his family dynamic as well (minus Cyrus🙄he gives off jealous/troubled vibes) Both him and Winnie better be on the lookout though because I’m sure Slick won’t be long to catch on to all the craziness they were doing behind his back. The connection between Slick and Journal was instant and I loved getting wrapped up in their story. Spice was 3/5. I can’t wait to finish book 2-it’s getting real juicy💦

PS thank you audible for offering free books to enjoy because I truly didn’t know about this author prior to; and I’m now enjoying more of her catalog 🤗

Honestly the male voice did it for me - I thought no book topped the cartel (books 1-3) but this did it for me and I love that it is straight to the point not a lot of fluff! Currently in book two and OMG just as good
