She was framed for murder. Three times.

Rebecca Moreland has a picture-perfect life—until the day it shatters. When someone close to her is murdered, all evidence points to Becky. Convicted and imprisoned, she refuses to accept defeat. With nothing but her wits, she uncovers the truth, exposes the real killer, and wins her freedom.

Then it happens again. Another murder. Another wrongful accusation. This time, she clears her name before the bars can close around her.

But the third time is different. The love of her life is dead, and the case against her is airtight. Sentenced to life in prison, Becky has no way out—until a new inmate arrives with a secret that changes everything.

With the odds stacked against her, can she prove the truth before it’s too late? Or will she spend the rest of her life paying for crimes she didn’t commit?

INNOCENT AGAIN is a gripping legal thriller of betrayal, resilience, and the fight for justice. But beyond the courtroom battles and prison walls lies a deeper truth—sometimes, the hardest fight isn’t proving innocence, but learning to forgive.

Wow, this is a story of sticktuitiveness never letting go in spite of the situation and keeping her eyes open for hope in the future. And with that, forgiving those who have put you in this bad situation in the first place. The narration was wonderful, as always with Linda Jones, and a very interesting outcome. Becky being wrongfully accused of a felony and even after she was acquitted, she still had the felony requirements over her head even though she was found to be innocent.

Fortitude and forgiveness

I thought this was going to be a simple, not complicated little story based on how it started. But it did end up being a little more nuanced than I expected. And, overall, I liked it. It's still more on the simple side at the end of the day, and I was less than thrilled with how it all ended, but it was a solid story. I'd check out more books by this author.

Narration was solidly done!
