    How did the Stamp Act end up repealed without ever going into effect? What act passed into law in order to secure the repeal? How did people on both sides of the ocean react to the news of repeal? Would parliament attempt to tax the colonists again? On today’s episode of Founded we’re finding out about how the Rockingham ministry managed to push the stamp act repeal through parliament and the Declaratory Act. It took a lot of effort from both sides of the ocean and a lot of compromise that would lead to further problems (subtle foreshadowing) but the news of the repeal of the Stamp Act was worth celebrating. I love listening to history podcasts and especially entertaining ones that aren't just dryly reciting dates and names! Tori is a great host and speaker, Gwenna and Tori together are just hilarious!

So fun to listen to! My only complaint is that sometimes the volume is to quiet or too loud for one or the other of the hosts, so trying to find a happy medium for volume can be a bit difficult periodically. Still so worth listening to each episode and I'm so excited to continue listening!
