A bloodwitch scorned.

A beast betrayed.

After recovering from a dark turn of events, Wren and Sin are more committed than ever—both to their kingdom, and to each other. But before vows can be sworn to either, they must face the harsh reality of what is waiting for them on the opposite side of the isle, and on the continent across the sea.

When a meeting with the foreign king goes awry, Wren grows suspicious that a dark magic may have their every move being watched. Desperate to protect her loved ones, Wren must reluctantly scheme behind the backs of her allies—including her betrothed’s. But when the Black Art senses he is being double-crossed by his intended, the result may prove to be more devastating than the war they face.

As battles grow bloodier, the shifter king’s temper grows concerning, and the strings of Wren and Sin’s newfound trust are plucked as both struggle not to slip into damaging past habits. With new threats emerging around every corner, it is more important than ever that these lovers keep their daggers aimed at their enemies… not at each other’s throats.

Love is a savage magic, but it may just prove to be this couple’s most destructive weapon yet.

This book was already a 5 star read for me and this audiobook is in a league of its own. Let’s just consider this my love letter to the narrators.

Jacci and James fully embody Wren and Sin. The duet narration didn’t miss a beat. I felt every emotion—the pulse-bounding suspense of the battle scenes, the ferocity of their love, and the visceral anguish they’ve both experienced. Their performances were perfect.

Wren and Sin’s love has never been tender or gentle— it's been forged by fiery passion, hunger, and unwavering devotion. This series has been such an emotional and unforgettable journey!

In The Beasts that Bleed Us, Erin delivers a bold, brutal, and brilliant ending befitting of these characters.

Beyond grateful to the author for the listening copy opportunity. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I loved this series so much! I’m sad to see it end. I hope Erin writes many more books. Her way of writing just makes you feel what the characters are feeling.

The narrators were also five stars. This is a must read series if you like dark fantasy romance

Such an epic conclusion to this series

Just not completely happy with book 3 could just be me though.

Was disappointed some places in the story could have more added for the event and other just not needed. Just wish some of these author would just stop putting these woman as if they could take on the male character sometimes not even with a weapon in the hands and or in danger without thinking or disrespecting them ( they are supposed to be powerful male) But as James cavenaugh is one of my favorite I finish for him and to finish the story that I listen back to back all three books in three days .
For the female narrator I have no idea I felt sometimes ok and than not.
Maybe if James didn’t put he’s hold chest into the story as narrator maybe female narrator would have been ok for me but I felt more from him than her and she speaks way to fast. But I have probably with a lot of female narrator not matching there strong male narrator.

I’m not sure 5 star for James Cavenaugh

This series is probably a little more morally gray than I prefer, so I struggled with some of the character choices. But in the end I got into it and came to like the MCs and their relationship.

A good ending.

Didn't care for this series. Amature writing, a lot of repeated phrases and words, and just like book 1 and 2, there were things about the story that just didn't make sense and were confusing. I actually regret using my credits on this series.
