I enjoyed it but the ending...

Spoilers: its a happy ending but it feels like it shouldn't have been and I wish it wasn't.
The happy ending feels forced and who know, maybe the FMC was just successfully put into a Stockholm Syndrome like state and manipulated into thinking that this is everything she wanted. She was sometimes realistic in response and other times really frustrating. I enjoyed the spice content very much and the narration was a beautiful duet, gotta love Corvin King. But I think I would have been more satisfied on a "bad ending".

Overall, I would say it was written well but I still had unanswered questions at the end. It felt like there should've been more since it's a standalone. Performance was great!!

Not too bad, narrators were great!

I like the story line of this book. I haven’t read any books that have a similar story line. A therapist falling for a patient that is married was good! Love the stalking and possessiveness. I did feel like the connection between the FMC & MMC escalated way too quickly. Like a week, just hard to believe. Wish it was a little slower with the building of the connection. If there was the option to give the book 4 1/2 stars then that’s what I would give it but instead it just got 4 even with Corvin narrating it.

If he’s narrating I’m listening. With that being said I think this book had all the right pieces but I wish they explored more of their history. You only get glimpses into their backgrounds and it’s harder to understand the FMCs angst
