" I am excited to offer this program to your church! It is the perfect solution to help churches address the problem of unemployment and underemployment among its members. The church can be a part of the solution in an undeniably strong way. We can help build your church members' income and financial influence through Workforce Development with this employment ministry. My book, Employed, is a strategically designed guide to connecting churches, corporations, and communities to restore hope and erase and eradicate unemployment!" We are better together.

Author

I am delighted by this fantastic piece of literature that has indeed emphasized the simplicity and relevance of a strategized ministry of employment in every sector of society, including churches, communities, and nonprofit organizations or corporations. This ministry tends to positively address the hopelessness and devastation of an unemployed or underemployed individual who is also an unhappy human. Also, we get to see some of these benefits that come with creating this vital sector called the ministry of employment in the church and society as a whole. This fosters sustainable income for all church members who are also members of the society, promotes unity, growth in the church, societal enhancement, social cohesion, moral dimension, and a great deal of corporate involvement. The author’s ability to capture the beauty of development, unity, hope, happiness, and purpose as the result of a fruitful ministry of employment. Whether in church or the society at large, as seen in each of the chapters, left me encouraged and enlightened, and I consider this an absolute skill of expressive writing. Each paragraph carefully and concisely brought me into a position to better appreciate the key benefits required for a progressive and developed church, community, corporation, or society facing the problem of unemployment or underemployment by providing various alternative means towards eradicating such problems and that simply gave a room for a great deal of enlightenment. I am encouraged by the author’s skill and expertise, and in awe of the wonders, this book entails. You are a prolific writer endowed with clarity in writing.

Marilyn Parker is the ultimate advocate for the employed and unemployed people in the church. In the book, "Employed", Marilyn Parker wakes up leaders to help those with jobs and no jobs, and those that are stuck in a dead-end job. If you are looking to change careers and make a difference, I highly recommend this book. "Employed" is a game-changer!
