Billion-dollar CEO and single dad needs a nanny—fast!

When I'm not making waffles for my son Jeremy or teaching him how to swim, I’m running a billion-dollar business. My life is scheduled to the minute. So, when the nanny unexpectedly quits, I need a replacement.

Riley is not what I expected. She just graduated law school and wants a summer job before starting her legal career. My son Jeremy instantly likes her—she makes him laugh until his cheeks hurt. Hell, she makes me feel carefree too, and I haven’t let my guard down ever since Jeremy’s mom left.

I’m so attracted to Riley that I can’t even think straight. It’s not just her incredible curves that drive me crazy; I genuinely like her. She’s a lot like me: driven and focused, but also protective of her family, especially her little sister.

But Riley is only with us for the summer. Besides, I’m a single dad with a lot of responsibilities. Holding her back would be selfish—falling for her would be reckless. I can’t keep her. She’s young, barely starting her career.

But the more time we spend together, the harder it is to ignore that Riley isn’t just perfect for Jeremy—she’s perfect for me too.

sometimes you just want to read an uncomplicated love story. this was that. simple plot, no angst, no misunderstanding. just straight forward. I do want to check out the stories of the other brothers!

quick read, nice love story

this and the first book in the series were overall well-written. I went on a bit of a Layla Hagen binge over the week and like her general writing style and that I'm not bracing myself for a giant conflict with only 2 hours remaining. the characters are likeable and the narrators did a great job performing the parts and bringing the book to life. enough sexy scenes for me that were well fleshed out. my only complaint is that if you listen to or read multiple books from this author in a row, you might pick up on a couple words that are overused. they tended to pull me out of the book and made me want to keep a tally of "immediately," "instantly," and "somehow." a different listener may never even notice.

overall though a good book and fun listen. I love the brothers and how much they interact with each other. she's set up a wide foundation for exploring each of their lives in future books and I will definitely listen to the next ones!

cute story!

Sweet with a side of spice

The story is fine, I like the romantic relationship….

But I cannot get past the fact that the author made Jeremy sound more like he was 6 rather than 10… I had myself questioning if either of the books stated he was special needs and that’s why he was as represented younger or if the author just doesn’t have kids.

How immature the author made Jeremy for being 10.
