The Ancient Wisdom of an Old Shadow Warrior is an overview of the combat oriented arts gathered and compiled together to form a reference base and manual for both beginners and old hands alike. The author has spent six-plus decades studying and practicing multiple forms of the martial arts. Many of those years have been in the performance of both public and private security. In this work, he has attempted to clear up some of the fog in the shadows of the martial arts. Much of what the public knows about the mysteries of the Martial Arts is derived from the movies and television. Were the good guys always win and the bad guys always make stupid mistakes. Real life has a particularly bad tendency to be just the opposite. Truth is stranger than fiction. In this work, he has gone to great lengths to give you the truth without any candy coating and a summary history of the different arts. His direction has been on mostly on the Japanese arts in particular Ninjitsu.
