Your Pucking Mom by Vee Taylor is book #1 in the Ravens Hockey series and it was so swoon worthy. Auburn is a single mom trying to do what’s best for her son who joined the Ravens hockey team. He’s the youngest on the team and she is worried he could mess up and they kick him off the team so she moves to Chicago with him. She meets Ledger and it’s an instant connection but he also plays for the same hockey team as her son and let’s just say, things get a little heated between them 😏!
The audio is performed in duet style by Amy Hall and Sebastian York. The dynamic between these two made this book a great listen. Blue nose did a phenomenal job producing this audio as well.

3.75⭐️ This was my first Vee Taylor book and it won’t be my last!

This is a single mom romance where she falls for her son’s captain and it was so addictive! I could not put this audiobook down I just wanted to keep listening. It was the perfect amount of swoony (MY BBY LEDGER THE MAN YOU ARE!!!! 🥹) and spicy (I may NEVER look at a skate blade the same ever again. IYKYK). I personally wasn’t a huge fan of Auburn and felt she was immature but I overall still loved the story!

As always, Sebastian York and Amy Hall did an incredible job narrating. They brought the story to life and I highly recommend the audio.

I so love finding new authors and diving into their audiobooks.
This one was so entertaining. Yes, I enjoyed the banter and the heat.
But what I loved most was the narration by one of my favorite narrators, Sebastian York. He sealed the deal for me on this audiobook. HOT!!!!!

Forbidden Hockey Captain 🙂‍↕️

Your Pucking Mom is an age gap hockey romance with some darker themes. Auburn, a single mom who experienced teen pregnancy and has a rocky relationship with her own mom, gives her all to her son. When he gets offered a spot on a famous hockey team, she ends up running into his coach-Ledger. The story felt a bit like insta-love and focused heavily on Auburn's backstory and current struggles, which made it a little harder for me to connect with Ledger as much as I'd have liked. That said, I really appreciated how intuitive Ledger was when it came to Auburn and her needs. I had the chance to listen to this as an ALC from Blue Nose, and Amy Hall and Sebastian York absolutely knocked it out of the park-great performance that really brought the story to life. Amy's emotion in Auburn's character was fantastic, and Sebastian captured Ledger's calm yet dominant vibe so well. Overall, the story itself wasn't my top read, but the audiobook is definitely worth a listen if you're into forbidden romances with a hot hockey captain and a single mom who finally gets to be a little selfish for herself.
