I love supernatural stories

I strongly dislike the AI narration it’s horrible. It’s very robotic. The pronunciation is horrible. Lots of run-on sentences.

loved the story! only thing I don't like is the computer voice... it doesn't properly catch emotions of the situations.

The AI voice doesn’t read it with the correct tones and makes more serious stuff sound to upbeat and not the way it’s written.

AI ruined it.

I'm glad I didn't waste a credit or money. Not only was the AI voice off-putting, I also questioned if the story was written by AI as well.

The lack of inflection caused me to pay closer attention to the words in order to attempt to submerse myself in the story. I never could get there.

The story didn't flow well either. There was missing information, as if pages or paragraphs were skipped.

Two examples that struck me as over the top ridiculous: 1) The two main characters are questioning the little girl that keeps showing up to the house..."he grabbed her shoulders and shook her hard" then yelled at her...... WHAT?! Where did that come from? Why would a grown man do that to a little girl? There's no reaction from the little girl or the female counterpart?!
2) The male character walks in to the house and finds the woman almost insane and speaking gibberish. He just puts her to bed. She lets him?? What happened in the time he was gone to put her in that state? We can surmise, but there was more focus on what he had been doing in town than the tiny snippet of what was happening at the house. It's supposed to be about the female character and the house, his trip to town was inconsequential in this moment.

UGH! I tried to give it a chance.
