Performative vs Authentic.

Josh Porter once again, washed each page his unique artistic and melancholy rich atmosphere. With his own voice he gives a chaotic and heart-felt confession of his own philosophical battles that reflect the same worn with time Intellectual wars of the past. The souls of everyone yearn for the greater than. Josh tells stories and retells others that crack open the armor of the typical person's prefromative self, forcing an examination of authenticity. Authenticity that can be glorious and macabre. A humble and Introspective view of the teachings of the master, Jesus and how in this modern ADHD nightmare of digital heroine, the call for piety in adherence to scripture is the only cure for the soul.

A relatively short book that dives in quickly and makes you confront hard questions. I enjoy the (how to pray) section as well as entire concept of unanswered and empty prayers due to the performative self and not the authentic.
