Quick, Fun Read

Unlike some reviewers, the mix of the two different stories didn't bother me. I wanted to know where Fezz was and what he was up to after the ending of the book 6. For me, the book was 4.5 stars until Curtis and Evie had their conversation towards the end of the book. It was like Curtis was a completely different person. I just didn't buy it and thought it hurt the ending.

I wished the story had more team action instead of two of the team members with separate stories that didn't include the other team members. I hope the next book will have the whole team on a mission. It will be interesting to see how Jodi fits into the team.

Overall, it's a fast read and if you like this series I would recommend reading the book.

Church with Florida HQ

Love Scott Brick, narrator. The story line of cult church with HQ in Florida was a good story line. Fez’s trip, aborted in Denver, wasn’t as developed as the remainder of the story.

I really enjoy the series.

I disliked the yelling as being emphatic as I had to continually adjust the volume. Or its studio issue.

Another great listen in this series

Scott always delivers an excellent narration.
It makes me nervous when the team splits up and doesn't have backup. But they always seem to make it through with a few bumps and scrapes.

Parallels with oppressive cults that exercise control over their members can be observed.
