August 1988, Palo Duro Canyon, Texas.
Strange Bigfoot-type creatures attack a ranch, massacring cattle and murdering ranch hands. With nowhere else to turn, the family calls Declan Caine and his Nightmare Hunters to save their home. With several of the team unavailable, Declan seeks help from two young warriors who have faced these creatures before. Two warriors with a destiny that mirrors his own.

Intriguing story line. Love the ties to history.

This is a great listen for young and old. It has awesome twists and turns and ties to history throughout. The characters you can't help but love. The only thing that I found that was dislikable about it was the A. I. generated read. Hopefully, A.I. will catch up at some point.But at this point it just seems to suck some of the soul out of it.
